Speaking of tokia, There (is/was) a tokia firebird on t neck. Man, I never thought i would be considering the purchase of a korean les paul knockoff.after owning an Electra in the 70's (what a horrible guitar.tuners, sound, fit, playability.you name it, the Electra sucked in it). the birdseye maple top is really unique and you would have to get a "les paul elegant" to get that in a gibson. Heritage guitars are great and defiantly the best way to go if you dont have the for a Gibson. The truss rod adjustments on the Samick was not that accurate and it was difficult to set it up properly, the bridge was kinda cheep too but overall I was really happy. I've got this Samick 'artist series edition' guitar, but can't seem to find any information about it on the internet: does anybody know which model this is and what it's worth Thanks in advance, Olivier. After getting a real 335 I sold the Samick.

By Guest, 4 years ago on Electric Guitar Values. The samick les paul is cheap enough (300 bucks) that i won't have to sell my '66 strat to buy it. I've got this Samick 'artist series edition' guitar, but can't seem to find.

Get the best deals on Samick Guitars & Basses. The Artist SG is supposed to be, by all accounts, a pretty dead on copy of the 61 Gibson 'Les Paul' SG. I already own a Samick Artist Series SAN-450 (a pretty spot on ES-335 copy), so Ive done plenty of reading up on Samicks Artist guitars, as well as playing my 335 copy nonstop and loving it. I have had the strat since i was 16.it was 10 years old (that should give you an idea of how old a fart i am.). This guitar popped up on my local Craigslist. I have been offered a real good price for the strat. I was going to sell my strat ('66 model) and get a les paul. There are also some lower-end bolt-on models out there, which I wouldn't especially recommend. Thanks for your input guys.i really appreciate it The set-neck Samick semi-hollows are generally quite good, whether the older double-cut 335 style or the newer Greg Bennett Royale series.
